He was so much more than the obituary stated. He had a special sense of humor and a grin to go with it . He was very kind and thoughtful. I knew of his pilot’s license and would tease him about the fact that he was driving a car, not flying a plane. He was a great competitor when we were in the Great American asking for donations for poppies. But I can still see the expression on his face when someone would reach for a poppy from him and I stepped in front of him saying that my poppies smelled much better than his. I remember seeing him volunteering after Hurricane Irene devastated Prattsville. Marching in the Memorial Day parades. I was fortunate to be at the award ceremony in Catskill where he was honored. Bob touched many lives and although the world will be minus one bright, shining star the heavens will shine much brighter. Ginny and family you were all so blessed.♥️
