I will always remember Mrs. O’Hara and Mr. O’Hara fondly. We joined the Prattsville and little Westkill community in 1967 when my parents for property and we built out a two car garage. We always had our cars fixed by the O’Haras And my dad and mom respected them very much. They trusted them.
Mr. and Mrs. O’Hara were very kind to us kids. A memory that stands out is when my brother and I decided at probably 10 and 8 years old towalk down to town because it did not seem so far. It was however 3 miles!
When we made it to the bridge we walked over it and stopped at O’Hara‘s. I believe Mrs. O’Hara sat us down, gave us an ice cream, and called our folks. We did not even know our number. And we waited for my mom and dad to come get us.
Mrs. O’Hara was always so sweet and kind and they will both always be remembered. In the world where adults did not always give kids their time, they always took time to talk to us!!
May Mrs. O’Hara rest in peace.

Betty was always so nice to us kids growing up. The best memory of her is during the Halloween gathering at the firehouse when she would dance around with my children and get them laughing. Betty was a wonderful woman and will be missed greatly. Rest in peace Betty. Sending prayers and condolences to the family.
