Bud was gruff, stubborn and sometimes irascible but was one of the most generous and kind people Joanne and I have known. In the few short years we knew Bud, he helped us out many times, as he did many of his neighbors, and we delighted in his companionship whenever we could share it. His physical absence will leave a hole in many lives but he will be ever present in ours.
