Obituary of Joseph Christopher Pitti

Joseph Christopher Pitti, of Windham, NY passed away suddenly in his home on January 26, 2024, at the age of 47.

Born in Long Island to Joseph and Gale Pitti on October 12, 1976, Joe was the younger of two boys. Joe spent his childhood on Long Island, until 1982 when his family relocated to the mountain top, where he stayed until he graduated from WAJ in 1994. After high school Joe and his family opened Pitti's Pizza in 1999. Many know Joe from his days at the pizza place and his amazing pizza. Joe married Laura LoPresti on May, 2, 2005 and they had two beautiful children, Zeta Lena and Vincent Joseph. Joe was a loving husband and kind father.

Joe leaves behind his wife and two children, his mother Gale, and brother Ed (Coleen), as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He is predeceased by his father Joseph Pitti.

Joe will be deeply missed. His hard work and dedication during his recovery this past year did not go unnoticed and it will be remembered as a source of inspiration to his family. May he rest in eternal peace.

Calling hours will be held at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Winham, NY on Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 12-2pm directly followed by a celebration of his life for close friends and family.
