Kenneth C Nolte Obituary
Ken passed away peacefully with his family by his side on December 7, 2022.
He was born to Pete and Alice (Egnar) Nolte Sr. in Albany NY on July 21, 1931.
Ken served in the USMC from 1948-1952. He was Honorably discharged with several medals including two Purple Hearts. Ken was one of the “Frozen Chosin” during the Korean War. He was a very proud Marine! Ken retired from the Albany Carpenters Union and the Town of Conesville as Building Inspector.
He is predeceased by his wife Estella (Rogers)Nolte. They were happily married for 48 years. Daughter Pamela Perreault, Grandson David Briggs &
Great grandson Andrew Durkin.
Ken is the last surviving sibling of nine children.
Ken is survived by son’s Ken (Lorraine), Kevin (Diane), Kraig (Stephany), Tim (Heather),
Joe(Becky), Daughter’s Darlene (Clark) Briggs (Randy) & Paula (Clark)Tuosto.
17 Grandchildren, 27 Great grandchildren, & 4 Great great grandchildren. He was affectionately known as “Gramps”.
Calling hours will be held on Monday December 12,2022
From 10am-12noon at Decker Funeral Home 5312 Main Street Windham, NY
Burial in Pleasant Valley Cemetery to follow.
