Obituary of James Thomas Briggs

PRATTSVILLE – James Thomas Briggs, 47, of Prattsville, NY, passed away June 9^th, 2022 at Albany Medical Center.

Jim worked in construction all his life, most recently at Belgian Trucking & Excavating.

He is survived by his father Thomas (Jacki) Briggs, his mother Sherrie Kralovich, his sister Stephanie Parry, his brothers Tommy (Amanda) Kralovich, Ryan Funck, Greg (Alyse) Funck, and Derek (Meagan) Briggs. He is also survived by many his nieces and nephews; Anthony (Kali) Parry, and their son Jax, MIkkena (Cash) Campbell and their children Dean and Sam Campbell, Harper Funck, Madelyn Funck and Emerson Funck as well as many friends.

He is predeceased by his grandparents John and Hazel Briggs, his uncles Bobby & Jimmy Briggs, his cousin David Briggs, his step-dad Tommy Kralovich and the love of his life, his two dogs Gandolf and Saphira.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday June 12^th, 2022 from 3-6pm at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Windham, NY. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday June 13^th at 11am.
