Though the time I knew Ron was short, he made a great impact on me. I had the opportunity to work with Ron at Tavern 23 for a couple of weeks, and in those weeks Ron’s personality stuck out and glowed like nothing i’ve seen before. Ron was always so positive. Regardless of the situation- he always kept his high and radiated great energy amongst anyone who had the chance to be in the same room as him. I remember when Tavern 23 lost electric and all staff just sat at the bar waiting to find out what was happening.. for a quick second we all kind of looked at Ron for advice, which he then responded with, “What do you want me to say, I don’t work in the dark”. I will always remember when we took the garbage out using the golf cart, as we did a couple different times, and he brought me to this clear spot in the trees a little farther away from the job. He told me that is where he “hid” as he saw everyone come out looking for him while he had a quick break. I just remember being so comfortable with him just because of how happy and high-energy he was. On this day Ron also gave me a really nice hug, as he told me that I was “one of the greatest people he’s ever met”. Ron has no idea the impact he had on the world. He was beyond amazing, and he is the greatest person I have ever met. I was so lucky. I love you forever Ron
