Obituary of William K Maben
William “Billy” Maben passed away in his hometown of Jewett, NY on Wednesday September 15, 2021 at the age of 61.
Billy was born in Catskill, NY on April 8, 1960 to Bruce and Janice Maben. Billy grew up in Jewett and graduated from Windham-Ashland-Jewett Central School in 1978. He spent the remainder of his life on the mountain top where he loved to ski, hunt and enjoy the outdoors.
Billy was a member of the Jewett Volunteer Fire Department and the Free and Accepted Masons of New York 529 Mountain Lodge.
Billy is survived by his mother, Janice Maben; his wife, Catherine Maben; his three children, Michael, Alexandra and Sean Maben and his two sisters Diane (John) and Vickie (Steve). He is predeceased by his father Bruce Maben, 2019.
Calling hours will be held Saturday September 18, 2021 from 2pm until 4pm, followed by a service conducted by Pastor Dot Morris.
