There’s not enough words to describe my dad. He was without a doubt the most important person in my life when I was younger and as I became an adult and had my 2 children they to become the most important people in my life and now I have the most amazing grandchildren, husband and two step children. I love you Daddy with all my heart. My heart is broken and feels empty without you here. I know you are in a better place now and I thank GOD that you didn’t have to go through the worst of the Alzheimer’s. You were fortunate to remember your children, and most of us agree how fortunate we were to have you as our father. I will miss you until we see each other again on the other side. Mom, we miss you and love you too. Forever your favorite daughter

He was an amazing man and boy could he make you laugh! I was fortunate to be able to spend so much time with him especially this past year. His face would light up every time I walked through the door with such a huge smile. He would tell me about his time in the Navy, all the women lol and how he wished he could have been an astronaut! Any one who spent any time with him should be able to recite a few of the same stories..”Did I ever tell you my mom was saved by a dog?”. Our last night together we watched the flinstones and the smile on his face that night will forever be a lasting memory to me. He always hugged me, kissed me and told me how much he loved me and I’m glad I was able to do the same with him. We always want more time. There will never be enough time. My hand is still in yours Grandpa and it forever will be! I love you ❤️
