Obituary of Evelyn H. Cammer

PRATTSVILLE- Evelyn H. Cammer of Prattsville passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021, at Robinson Terrace Nursing Home, Stamford, NY.

Evelyn was born to the late Joseph and Emma Enderlin on October 26, 1925 in Johnson Hollow, Prattsville, NY.

She married Richard Cammer on March 21, 1947. Together the operated their farm in Prattsville.

Evelyn is survived by her daughters Diane Eklund and Janice Cammer both of Prattsville, her grandson Neil Eklund, PH. D. and his wife Julie Eklund of the San Francisco Bay area.

She is predeceased by her husband Richard and her sister’s, Dorothy Hull, and Mariam Beers.

Evelyn’s passions were cleaning, music, gardening and enjoying a glass of wine at the end of the day. She was well known for her Sunday afternoon chicken and biscuit dinners, apple pie and cheesecake.

A special thank you to the nurses and aides for their wonderful care she received over the last two and a half years at Robinson Terrance.
