Obituary of Dimitrios Mandarakas
Dimitrios Mandarakas, 69, passed away unexpectedly at Albany Medical Center on Wednesday, August 19, 2020. He was born in Andros, Greece to the late Spiros and Anthoula (Manesis) Mandarakas.
He lived a quiet life on his farm. He was an active member of the Parish Council for the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption in Windham, NY. He loved nothing more than spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Alexander, Grace and Abigail.
He is survived by his daughter Joyce Queenan and her husband John of Montgomery, NY and his son Spiro Mandarakas.
He was predeceased by his brother Nicholas Mandas.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 24th from 5pm-8pm at Decker Funeral Home, 5312 Main Street, Windham, NY. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2020 at 11am at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Assumption 4752 NY 23, Windham.
