Dorothy L. (Soule) Giordano passed away peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.

Born October 15, 1936, to Charles and Sarah (Vermilya) Soule on the family farm in Jewett, NY. On June 9, 1956, she married Pasquale (Ziggy-Pat) Giordano, son of Luigi and Concetta (Palma) Giordano at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Windham, NY.

Dorothy was mother to Louis — Prattsville, NY, John (Robin Fleischman) — Jewett, NY and Patrick (Nisalda Carreiro) Giordano, Stockbridge, VT. Dorothy was grandmother of Kaitlyn (Avisha) Benyamin of Falmouth, MA, and Quinn Giordano of Stockbridge, VT. As well as Great Grandmother to Yonathan , Gabriel, and Raphael Benyamin of Falmouth, MA.

Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Pasquale (Ziggy-Pat) Giordano, and John Michael Giordano (Grandson); Siblings: Daisy Van Etten (Lexington, NY), Stanley (Lexington, NY), Audrey (Jewett, NY) Harrison (Jewett, NY) Nettie (Edmeston, NY) and Clarence (Jewett, NY), Sister-in- Law, Jeanne (Thompson) Soule of Jewett, NY. Dorothy is survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Dorothy was a 50-year member of the Jewett Ladies Auxiliary, Trustee of the Lexington Cemetery, and Deputy Town Clerk for the Town of Jewett for 10 years.

At her request, no funeral services will be held. Decker Funeral Home in Windham, NY will provide cremation services. Interment will be in the Lexington Cemetery beside her husband and grandson.
