So many wonderful memories over the years from Manhasset to Windham. I can so clearly picture her sitting in the living room on Ryder Road after a shared dessert with our family on Thanksgiving and Uncle Jimmy banging on the piano. It was loud and crazy with 15 kids running around but Aunt Joan didn’t seem to mind at all and just smiled enjoying the warmth of family. We will miss you.

I have so many great memories of spending time at the Sheridan’s house. Mrs. Sheridan was always so welcoming and there for us whenever we needed anything. My condolences to the entire Sheridan family…she will be missed.

Besides my own home, the Sheridan‘s home in Manhasset was the place I would go for unconditional love. I cannot tell you how many evenings before I headed up to Maureen and Teresa’s room I would make a pitstop and jump in between Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan while they were in bed. We would discuss my day, what the evening was going to be all about and just enjoy their company and wisdom. The same events would happen on Friday nights upon my arrival in Windham for a weekend of skiing. Mrs. Sheridan‘s love went far beyond her own children and I was one of the lucky ones to be on the receiving end. Rest in peace xoxo ❤️

Beautiful inside and out, a good listener, nonjudgmental, quick with her and a warm smile , she will be missed by all who knew her.Over the last few years, I loved to pop in and sit by her over looking the field where, for so many years before, horses graizednand dogs roamed.
